First of all, make sure you have spare batteries! It might sound silly, but batteries are the lighters of the vaping world and you can’t live without them! In the same way as your lighter might run low, so will your battery. It is important to know which batteries your e-cigarette uses and stock up with a couple of spares.
When you start out, you’ll be entering a world of new and exciting flavours! There are thousands of fun, high-quality e-liquids to try and there’s absolutely no reason to only stick to one or two favourites. New vapers are likely to go for tobacco or menthol flavoured e-liquids and stay with them for the conceivable future. In no time at all you’ll get used to the flavour and start to find your vapes less satisfying – leading you to think about quitting vaping and go back to tobacco cigarettes. It is a great idea to try mix things up every now and then and maybe ask for different e-liquids you might not necessarily buy as gifts. Have you tried cookies and cream, chocolate milkshake, fruit mixtures or apple flavour? It might be your favourite!
The Right Kit
There is an amazing range of vaping kits available today. One of the most important things when starting out is to get a kit designed for a beginner vaper. Resist the temptation to go for something cheap as it will only give you a bad vape that will put you off e-cigarettes forever. At the same time, don’t feel the need to go for something at the upper end of the kits available, as you may not need or want all the functions yet and they’re not recommended for vaping for beginners.
You’ll probably be aware that there are lots of e-liquids to choose from which include nicotine. Knowing which nicotine level is right for you is really important in vaping for beginners. When you are switching from traditional tobacco cigarettes to vaping, you must make sure you start with e-liquids with an equivalent nicotine level to your favourite cigarettes. This will help stop your cravings in the short term, and longer term you can reduce the nicotine level gradually to a 0% level if you’re coming from smoking.
As a general guide…
