Flavours are preferences really. Usually it’s whichever flavour you have the most successful experience with. Such as: some people prefer menthols or tobaccos whereas, others prefer fruit or dessert flavours.
There are three main manufacturers of our e liquids products within the UK: Malaysia, America and the UK of course.
E Liquids contain 4 main ingredients: nicotine, vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol and flavourings.
E Liquids that contain more vegetable glycerin are thicker in consistency, which is better for sub ohm tanks ( tanks which contain a coil that has a resistance below 1.0 ohm). On the other hand, e liquids that contain more propylene glycol or contain half “PG:VG” are made more for tanks which contain a coil of resistances of 1.0 ohm or above. This is due to the way the coils are built. For example, if an E liquid was put into an e cigarette that was not made for that specific e liquid, this could limit the coil life and possibly cause the tank to leak and not work efficiently.
E liquids also come in a variety of nicotine strengths. Thicker e liquids strengths range from 0mg to 6mg; thinner e liquid strengths range from 0mg to 18mg. Depending on how many cigarettes you smoked/ smoke per day before vaping, you should be recommended a strength of nicotine to suit you. For instance, 18mg of nicotine would usually be recommended to someone who smokes over 20 cigarettes a day.
